How to get inspiration and plan your bathroom remodeling idea
So you have decided that you are going to remodel your bathroom. Now what?

You know that you want to change the room but you don't have much idea about what it is that you want yet. All the sales brochures you've looked at and all the showrooms you've visited have only made you more confused than you were to start with. So what do you do next?

Get to know the room you are going to remodel

This is important. You must measure all the dimensions in your bathroom and write them down in a way that you can understand. The best way to do this is to first make a scale drawing of the floor plan. Choose a suitable scale that will allow you to draw the floor accurately on one piece of paper. If your bathroom is 16 feet by 10 feet then a scale of 2 foot to the inch should allow you to do this. You will need a piece of paper at least 8 inches by 5 inches.

If you have some squared paper then you will find it much easier to draw out your bathroom remodeling idea. If not then use a ruler and try to keep things square on the page.

You're drawing should be as accurate as possible making sure that you capture any pipe work or other odd shapes that might affect the placement of bathroom furniture.

When you have done the floor plan then you should do the same with each of the walls. You need to accurately draw the shape and size of the wall and the size and placement of any windows etc. You should also note down the depth of windows too.
