Cherished Traditional Maine Heated Towel Rail 1 955mm (H) x 680mm (W)

Don't expect to have warm towels in 10 minutes. Only a tumble dryer
can do that. If you don't want to leave your towel warmer rack running
continuously, (the most efficient use of energy by the way), you will need to
allow at least 50 minutes for the warmth to build up in the fibers of the towel.
About 15 minutes is needed for the towel warmer to warm up and the remainder 35
minutes for the heat to gently radiate up through the layers of towel. Oil
filled towel bars need almost a couple of hours to give the same results, as it
can take up to an hour for an oil filled towel bar to get to operating
temperature, and then another 45 minutes for the towel to warm up.
When Cherished Traditional Maine Heated Towel Rail 1 955mm (H)
x 680mm (W) products were in the design stage they
consulted Underwriters' Laboratories for guidance on operating temperature.
Their suggestion was that Warmrails follow their "4 second test". This
means that the towel warmer can be hot to the touch, however it should not scold
or cause permanent damage if it comes into contact with the skin for up to 4
seconds.
