Which heating element is best for your towel
warmer depends on what kind of usage is expected from the towel warmer. If it is
to be used as part of the hot water system for the most part of the year and
that it is only in the summer that it will be electricity-powered, you may then
choose the heating element with the smallest possible heat output, which is
currently 250 Watt, to save on the electricity used. This is so because the
towel warmer will only be used to dry towels or any other garments, which are
placed on it, and is not expected to provide heating for the room.
However if you are to use the towel warmer in full power even in summer, you are
then advised to select the heating element whose strength is equal or close to
the heat output that the towel warmer produces when it is connected to the
central heating system.
For dual use installations you will need one angled and one straight type of
valves. These valves are listed on our website as "Pair of Mixed Chrome
Valves for Dual Use". Tee pipe is also needed for it makes it possible for
both the electric element and the valve to be fitted into the towel warmer
through the same entry point.
